Yin Li pointed out that the World Intelligent Connected Vehicle Conference aims to gather the wisdom of all parties and promote the safe popularization and application of intelligent connected technology. Beijing is one of the important automobile industry bases in China. It is full of innovation and has a complete automobile industry system. It is the first to issue regulations on autonomous vehicle, standardize and strengthen the management of autonomous driving, and promote the construction of intelligent facilities and the development of intelligent networking technology. Currently and in the future, Beijing will actively build a highland for the development of intelligent connected vehicle industry. Beijing is willing to work together with all parties to promote key technological innovation, deepen industry university research cooperation among car companies, universities, and research institutions, jointly build an open and shared innovation platform, and promote more breakthroughs in core technologies. Jointly enhance the level of industrial development, build the Beijing Tianjin Hebei Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industrial Park (Science and Technology Ecological Port), and create a world-class intelligent connected vehicle industry cluster. Jointly optimize the industry development environment, improve the industry standards and regulatory system, support high-level and multi scenario applications, strengthen management, ensure safety, and build a better industrial ecology. Liu Wei pointed out that the Ministry of Transport has thoroughly implemented the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping. Recently, it jointly issued the "Implementation Opinions on 'Artificial Intelligence+Transportation'" with relevant departments, insisting on using artificial intelligence as an important lever, deeply implementing pilot projects for intelligent transportation, strengthening the research and application of intelligent connected vehicles and autonomous driving technology, and creating a number of typical application scenarios with mature technology, feasible paths, and replicable promotion. At the same time, it has strengthened international cooperation and exchanges in the field of autonomous driving, and jointly promoted the innovative development of intelligent connected vehicles with countries around the world. Facing the future, we must adhere to innovation driven development, increase the supply of key technologies, accelerate the empowerment of innovation scenarios, strengthen the guarantee of core elements, optimize the ecological development of industries, develop new quality productivity according to local conditions, and promote the high-quality development and high-level safety of transportation to a new level. Xin Guobin pointed out that in recent years, with the joint efforts of all parties, China's intelligent connected vehicle industry has achieved positive results, building a complete industrial system covering intelligent cockpit, autonomous driving, connected cloud control, etc., carrying out pilot applications of "vehicle road cloud integration" for intelligent connected vehicles, formulating and publishing a series of key standards, strengthening international standard and regulatory coordination, and creating favorable conditions for innovative technology applications. Next, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will thoroughly implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, organize the formulation of the "15th Five Year Plan" for the development of the intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry, and comprehensively promote the high-quality development of the industry. Support technological innovation, promote the deep integration of artificial intelligence and automotive industry innovation, and strengthen breakthroughs in key technologies such as new generation electronic and electrical architecture and high computing power chips. Promote cross-border integration, deepen the pilot application of "vehicle road cloud integration", and support the co construction of a trustworthy data space. Improve the policy system, accelerate the formulation of relevant standards for combined driving assistance, autonomous driving, etc., optimize the production access management system, and standardize the industrial competition order. At the opening ceremony, the phased results of the pilot application of 'vehicle road cloud integration' for intelligent connected vehicles were released, and the construction of the national artificial intelligence vehicle application pilot base was launched.
This conference is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Transport, and the Beijing Municipal People's Government, and lasts for 3 days. The conference, with the theme of "Gathering Intelligence, Gathering Energy, and Connecting Unlimited Networks", will feature three special events: a plenary session, a policy roundtable for the automotive industry, an international cooperation conference for the automotive industry, and a cross regional coordinated development conference for the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region. Forums will be held around six themes, including policy, technology, safety, artificial intelligence, applications, and data. Five simultaneous side events will be held to focus on cutting-edge hot topics such as chips, integrated innovation, transportation infrastructure, insurance, and ecology. The conference will also release a number of innovative achievements, including the top ten achievements in the standardization of intelligent connected vehicles, the roadmap for intelligent connected vehicle network technology, and the trustworthy data space in the automotive industry. More than 4000 representatives from governments, enterprises, and research institutions from over 10 countries and regions around the world attended the conference.
