The reporter learned from the Tianjin Electric Power Trading Center yesterday that on October 10, our city introduced a total of 24.98 million kilowatt hours of green power from Xizang and Xizang, including 6.28 million kilowatt hours of green power from Tibet and 18.7 million kilowatt hours of green power from Qinghai, which is equivalent to the annual power consumption of more than 10000 households with three people. This marks the first time that green electricity from the Qinghai Tibet Plateau has entered Tianjin.

The Qinghai Tibet Plateau is an important clean energy base in China. In 2011, the first phase of the Qinghai Tibet Interconnection Project's DC project was put into operation, opening up a new era; Electric Power Sky Road; Effectively promote the large-scale allocation and optimization of clean energy.

On the eve of National Day, the second phase expansion project was put into operation, increasing the power transmission capacity of the Qinghai Tibet DC network from 600000 kilowatts to 1.2 million kilowatts. The Qinghai Tibet Plateau green power introduced by our city this time is transmitted through this ultra-high voltage direct current channel.

In order to promote the smooth implementation of this green power transaction, the power trading centers in Tianjin and Xizang continued to follow up the Qinghai Tibet DC commissioning, planned the power transmission curve in advance in combination with the power grid balance capacity of the buyer and seller, and successfully completed the first batch of green power transactions after the expansion project was officially put into operation. Chang Yadi, Director of the Trading Department of Tianjin Electric Power Trading Center, introduced that this month's green power trading will send green power resources from the southwest and northwest regions of China to the Beijing Tianjin Hebei load center through multiple ultra-high voltage direct current channels, achieving the optimization and mutual assistance of power resources nationwide and becoming a typical case of the effectiveness of the construction of a unified national electricity market.

In recent years, the demand for green electricity consumption in Tianjin has continued to rise. At the same time, with the acceleration of the construction of a unified national electricity market, the scale of Tianjin's purchased green electricity transactions has also grown rapidly. Data shows that as of the end of September, the trading volume of green electricity reached 17.08 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 135% compared to the whole year last year. Among them, the trading volume of purchased green electricity was 12.172 billion kilowatt hours, accounting for 70%.
