Xin Guobin fully affirmed the achievements of the 5th National Automotive Standards Committee in improving the automotive technology standard system, optimizing the quality of standard supply, enhancing the international influence of standards, and playing an important role in promoting product quality improvement and industrial technological progress, supporting the formation of global competitive advantages in China's automotive industry. Xin Guobin emphasized that the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council attach great importance to standardization work, and General Secretary Xi Jinping has made important instructions and directives multiple times, providing fundamental guidance for carrying out automobile standardization work in the new era. “ Fifteen Five Year Plan; The period is an important window for China to build a strong automobile country and expand its industrial competitive advantages. We must fully leverage the fundamental and leading role of standards in supporting industrial development, and promote high-quality development of the automobile industry with high-level standards. We need to accelerate the development of urgently needed standards, including standards for autonomous driving, data security, network security, carbon footprint accounting, and artificial intelligence for vehicles. We need to strengthen the management of the entire lifecycle of standards, innovate work mechanisms, models, and methods, increase the promotion and implementation of standards, and dynamically evaluate their effectiveness, forming a management loop. We need to strengthen the coordination of international standards and regulations, deeply participate in the formulation of global automotive standards and regulations, promote standard collaboration and mutual recognition of testing, and better serve China's automotive industry going global.

The National Automobile Standards Committee was officially established in 1988, with 29 sub technical committees. It is the largest professional standardization technical organization in China, fully responsible for the formulation of domestic standards for automotive products and the coordination of international standards and regulations. As of“ The 14th Five Year Plan; At the end, 1650 national and industry standards related to automobiles (including motorcycles) have been formulated and released, forming a comprehensive automotive standard system covering the entire chain, process, and lifecycle; At the same time, actively participated in the development and coordination of international automotive standards and regulations under the frameworks of the World Organization for the Coordination of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), etc., held nearly 40 important positions, and led the development of more than 30 global technical regulations and international standards.
